1. Is Laser Hair Removal Permanent?
The new technology is capable of giving over 80-90% or better permanent reduction for almost all skin types, male and female, for ALL parts of the body, except around the eyes. The number of sessions needed to achieve these results can vary from person to person depending on many factors such as age, skin type, amount of hair, hair color, hair texture, and hormonal balance.

2. What does it feel like?
You may feel a slight tingling sensation like a rubber band snap, but most people tolerate the procedure well. Some areas are more sensitive than others, so you may elect to have a topical anesthetic prior to the treatment.

3. How Many Laser Treatments will I need and How Far Apart are they Scheduled?
Most patients need at least 6-8 effective treatments spaced 4 -12 weeks apart. Because hair grows in cycles, several sessions are necessary in order to affect all hair on any given area. Due to length of hair growth cycles, treatments are usually needed once every 8-12 weeks. Hair cycle length varies depending on body part. Face usually requires more frequent treatments (about 8 weeks apart) whereas legs and back need less frequent treatments (closer to 12 weeks apart).

Shedding of all treated hair should be expected within 2 weeks of each treatment. The hair that doesn’t shed and is growing as usual after 2 weeks has likely been either missed or not affected due to inappropriate settings. If this is the case, a touchup treatment is necessary at that time. All 6 - 8 treatments should be good effective treatments in order to achieve good results Once the hair sheds, patients should experience a hair-free period for several weeks. Once new hair comes in again, patients should come in for their next session. The best way to estimate your treatment dates is to observe the new hair growth. The subsequent treatment is usually 4 to 6 weeks after the previous treatment. When you start to see new stubble (new hair growth), you can make an appointment within the week.

4. Will I have hair between the sessions? How will I look?
Your treated area will be cleared of most of the present hair during the treatment, while the rest of the treated hair will shed in two weeks leaving the area smooth and clean. Depending on the area, the skin will remain COMPLETELY clean and smooth for around 6 to 8 weeks in total, starting with the treatment date; and the time for your next session will be when you start to see little fine hairs starting to grow again. Repeating the sessions on time, the area will remain hair free throughout the entire multiple session procedure. You will look completely clean and smooth.  

5. How soon do I expect to see results? How do I know it is working for me?
You will see results starting with your VERY FIRST session. The hair growth will be less and the hairs finer and weaker; your skin will become smoother; and the hair pores on your skin will become less visible after each session. The results will become more impressive with each following session.

6. What are the risks or possible side effects involved?
All the possibilities are short-term reactions such as a redness, which may take from a few minutes to several hours to fade away. Most people can get treated during their lunch time and there will be no visible indications when they return to their office.  

7. Is Laser Hair Removal for everyone?
Laser hair removal will not work on white, Grey, light red or light blond hair. Some skin tones maybe be to dark for effective Laser hair removal, please discuss any questions and medical conditions at your consultation to ensure that you are a good candidate for this process.  

8. Can I choose to achieve finer and less hair in some areas rather than a full removal?
Yes you can. We can customize your treatment according to your needs and expectations. You can weaken and reduce your hair in any area while still leaving a certain amount.  

9. I have ingrown follicles on my face, legs, bikini area and back. Would laser help?
Absolutely. Even after one treatment you will notice that most of your ingrown hair will be terminated. Within few weeks, the area will be smooth and the color of your skin will return to your original skin color.  

10. How are the treatments priced?
Prices are usually given per area per session. This is for the convenience of the clients of course, since as a consumer you will always have the option to stop after the number of sessions you believe are enough for you. However, multiple area and multiple treatment discounts are also available and can be discussed in our free consultation.  

11. What should I do before/after laser hair removal?
Before Treatments Your hair needs to be as short as possible for this treatment to be effective. Therefore we do recommend you to shave at least a day before. Since we will cover the entire area in each of your sessions, we do not actually need to see the hair. Shaving it removes the surface debris and allows the laser beam to penetrate the follicle. Do not fake tan or sun on the area 30 days before the treatment. Please wear sunblock (even in the car), especially on your face and arms. Please notify the Aesthetician of any medication you maybe currently using at you consultation as some interfere with your laser treatment. After treatments We advise you to treat your skin with care for the next 24 hours. Taking showers with boiling hot water, sweating excessively, rough exfoliating or products that contain a lot of chemical ingredients should be avoided since they can cause itchy, sensitive skin. After this period of time you can return to your daily habits with no danger whatsoever.  

 

 
     
 
  SPA POLICIES       
 

ARRIVAL

We encourage you to arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled spa appointment to allow enough time for you to relax and make the most of your spa experience. Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, reducing its effectiveness and your pleasure. Your treatment will end on time so not to interfere with the next guests relaxing experience.  

LATE POLICY

If arrival is delayed, we will make every effort to accommodate your full appointment but this is not always possible.  Service time may be reduced to avoid delays for other guests as treatments and are charged at full value. Appointments missed by 15 minutes can be cancelled. Last minute changes to appointments will be honored only if a service appointment is available for a later time in the day (of your appointment) and other guests are not inconvenienced.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Scheduled treatments are reserved especially for you. If you wish to cancel or reschedule your treatment, we kindly ask for a 24-hour advance notice. If you do not notify us of cancellation or are a no show for your appointment; we reserve the right to charge your account (100%) of the entire fee or forfeit a treatment session if used on a promotion.

PAYMENTS   

The Bare Essence Spa accepts cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover as payment. We proudly recruit and train our staff to be the most qualified spa professionals in the industry. Current industry standard gratuity for spa treatments is 15% - 20%.

GIFT CARD POLICY

Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded. All sales are final for gift cards. All gift cards purchased adhere to our 1-year expiration policy.   Gift cards are treated as cash; all lost or stolen gift cards are not replaceable. 

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

Please notify our Spa Consultant before reserving your treatments if you have high blood pressure, special physical concerns, diabetes, or are pregnant. All spa guests will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire upon check-in, designed with your well being in mind.

AGE REQUIREMENT

Spa guests must be 18 years of age or older to receive treatments without the approval or accompaniment of an adult. All spa guests must be 8 years of age or older

Therefore, our client's right to know policy advises each client on the products and techniques best suited for the client to maximize the benefits of their service.

RETURNS 

Bare Essence is always happy to accept returns on most any merchandise purchased from the spas within 30 days of purchase with a valid receipt except as follows: Unfortunately and without exception, we cannot accept items on opened cosmetics for safety reasons. We thank you for understanding.
